Ethernet Testers
Networked Communications Solutions (NCS) provides a full line of Ethernet testers to improve performance of Ethernet networks:
Sifos Technologies: NCS and Sifos provide physical layer (Layer 1) testing for Ethernet ports. PHY testing, for both design and manufacturing, is provided at rates up to 1000Base T. POE testing to the IEEE 802.3at specification is also supported in dual or multi-port configurations with high throughput for manufacturing, if required.
Calnex Solutions: With Calnex, NCS provides test solutions for timing-over-Ethernet. Standards based solutions include IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and Synchronous Ethernet (Sync-E) to ITU-T G.8262 and ITU-T G.8264 specifications. Solutions are available for testing Circuit Emulation Services (CES..Pseudowire/ SAToP / CESoP/ TDMoIP) where TDM (T1, E1, etc.) is transported over Ethernet. Also, fault and impairment conditions can be generated to validate Ethernet Operations, Administration and Management (OAM) performance in MPLS-TP based on Y.1731 and 802.1ag.
